Application fee (non-refundable)
The application fee must be paid and the proof of payment received in order for your online application to be considered. We will contact you within seven (7) calendar days and should we have space available, we will arrange a visit for you and your child (if you have not yet been to our school) and an interview with our principal.
Enrolment fee (non-refundable)
The enrolment fee guarantees your child's place at Silver Leaf Montessori and is due within one (1) week of the notification of acceptance in order to secure your child's place.
Annual resource levy
The annual resource levy will be included in your first invoice and used to purchase specific items on the school’s wish list. E.g. new story and educational books/ bird feeder/ specialised outdoor equipment/ the Montessori Bells. A mailer will go out to parents at the end of each year to share what has been purchased with the proceeds from the resource levies.
Tuition fees
Monthly payments: 12 equal payments due on or before the first (1st) of the month (1 January to 1 December).
Termly payments: Four quarterly payments due within the first seven (7) calendar days of the school term.
Annual payment: One single payment due within the first seven (7) calendar days of the school year.All quoted fees include applicable discounts.
Siblings discounts
We regrettably do not currently offer any siblings discounts.

Penalties
All late payments of tuition fees will incur a R200 penalty fee which will automatically be added to your school account.
Termly fees not paid within the first seven (7) days of the school term and annual fees not paid within the first seven (7) days of the school year will be converted to the monthly fee structure.
Please note:
ALL fees are payable irrespective of whether your child is absent from school. Reasons include, but are not limited to, illness, holidays and government-imposed lockdown.
One full school term’s notice must be given, in writing, before removing your child from the school, or payment in lieu thereof will be required. E.g., if you wish to withdraw your child from the school at the end of the third term, written notice must be submitted to the Head of School by the last day of the second term.
